Charles Picasso

Charles Picasso, Chairman of the Board, brings to Narus more than three decades of proven success in building, developing and leading exceptional sales, marketing and consulting organizations. Mr. Picasso is the retired president and CEO of IHS Inc., the worldwide leader in developing and implementing engineering, technical and regulatory information solutions for customers in more than one-hundred countries.  Prior to IHS, Mr. Picasso was  COO of Digital Island Inc., an Internet service provider. He was instrumental in the successful transitioning and merging of Digital Island with Cable & Wireless and Exodus.  Mr. Picasso was Senior Vice President Worldwide Professional Services Business Unit with AT&T Global Information Solutions/NCR, President and CEO for AT&T Istel, based in Paris, France.  Picasso held several senior executive positions with Matra Group (now EADS), Control Data Corporations, Prime Computer, Inc. and other corporations in Europe.

Mr. Picasso earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Sciences in Montpellier, France.

Matt Bigge

Matt Bigge joined American Capital in September 2006 with over 15 years of operating and venture capital experience. He is currently involved with American Capital's Technology Group investments in Narus, Inc. and Coghead, serving on their Board of Directors. Most recently, Mr. Bigge was the Director of Corporate Development for Nanosys Inc. Prior to Nanosys, he was a venture partner at SVIC focused on investments in leading edge technology companies such as Cloudshield and Arcsight.  Mr. Bigge was also a co-founder and COO of MILCOM Technologies where he led the acquisition and commercialization of over $1.5 billion in technology ranging from wireless to software and semiconductors. He was instrumental in applying that technology to create and found over 10 product companies such as Meshnetworks (MOT) where he was a co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Bigge is also a former Army Ranger with a distinguished record. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and B.S. from Georgetown University.

William P. Crowell

William P. Crowell is an independent security consultant and holds several board positions with a variety of technology and technology-based security companies. Since 9/11 he has served on the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Task Force on Terrorism and Deterrence, the National Research Council Committee on Science and Technology for Countering Terrorism and the Markle Foundation Task Force on National Security in the Information Age. Bill’s past positions have included President and Chief Executive Officer of Cylink, a leading provider of e-business security solutions as well as a series of senior positions at the National Security Agency, including Deputy Director of Operations and Deputy Director of the Agency. He has also served as chairman of the President’s Export Council (PEC) Subcommittee on Encryption, which worked with the Administration, Congress and private industry to substantially loosen restrictions on the export of encryption products and technology.

Andrew Kau, Walden International

Andrew Kau is a General Partner of Walden International, and specializes in telecommunications and internet infrastructure. Prior to joining Walden, Andrew was President of Chemical Technologies Ventures, and a management consultant at Strategic Planning Associates and Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Earlier, he was a research scientist for Systems Planning Corporation, and a VLSI semiconductor engineer for IBM. Andrew holds an MBA from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Brown University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Internet Dynamics, Narus, Radix Wireless, Quarry Technologies, Sonoma Systems, MyPersonal.com, and Mifund.com. Andrew also has investments in Transmeta, Adicom, and Vadem.

Greg Oslan, Narus

Greg Oslan brings to Narus a comprehensive record of executive and managerial successes which he compiled at Wireless Online, CNET Inc, Ameritech, and AT&T. Greg also has a strong background in successful capital raising and consulting experience for growth companies. Prior to joining Narus, Greg was president and CEO of Wireless Online, a provider of smart antenna solutions to the wireless industry. Earlier, Greg served as president and COO of CNET Inc., a wireless operational support system company where he successfully executed a turnaround strategy and a successful acquisition. Previously, during ten years with Ameritech Corporation, Greg held positions such as the Director of Wireless Data Marketing and Director of Business Development (Ameritech Mobile Communications) in addition to other management positions within the Ameritech Bell Group. Greg began his career with AT&T. He has consulted to many companies over the years successfully leading several through capital raising, restructuring, and divestitures. He also started an early stage venture capital fund in Dallas in 1998.

Greg earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and completed his B.Sc. in Quantitative Business Analysis from Indiana University.

Tony Pantuso, NeoCarta

Tony Pantuso was formerly Senior Vice President for GE Equity, a division of GE Capital, one of the largest private equity investment companies in the world. While at GE Equity, he managed and developed the Media and New Media Group, investing in Internet, e-commerce, media and new media companies. Prior to GE, Tony worked for US WEST and MediaOne for eight years, ultimately investing in technology companies as Director of Business Development for US WEST Interactive. He also spent two years with Ernst & Young. Tony received a BS in Business Administration from Colorado State University, where he was elected Student Body President in the College of Business. Tony is currently a director of Actional, E-Markets, AirPrism, iSuppli, and Narus, and he manages NeoCarta's investment in Petroleum Place.

Shahan D. Soghikian, JP Morgan Partners

Shahan D. Soghikian is a Partner of JPMorgan Partners, the private equity investment arm of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., where he has been employed since 1990. Shahan has been based in San Francisco since 1998 and is in charge of JPMP's west coast investment activities. In addition to his management role, he is involved principally with investments in the communication services and infrastructure sectors. Between 1994-1998, Shahan was responsible for developing and managing JPMP's European team and was based in London. Prior to joining JPMorgan Partners in 1990, Shahan was a member of the mergers and acquisitions groups of Bankers Trust and Prudential Securities, Inc. He currently serves as a director of AppVentures, Axentis, Complient, Nextec Applications, Inc., Ninth House Network, Coactive Networks, fusionOne, and Kinko's and is on the Advisory Board of Broadview Capital Partners.
